University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire Collegiate Steppers records, 1950-1968.

This series contains records of a campus student organization dedicated to the performance of folk dancing. Originated in 1949 as the Square Steppers, a club focusing on square and round dancing, the group had evolved by the late 1950's to performing ethnic folk dances. In 1962 its name was changed to the Collegiate Steppers in recognition of this evolution. The group performed its last program in 1968. The collection includes scrapbooks, photographs, meeting minutes, and performance programs.
